Too Much Food, Drinks, Lazy Days, and What the Stars Say About 2026

I am guessing that you are reading this while lying on your sofa. You are probably still wearing pajamas at 2:00 PM. You might be regretting that third piece of cake you ate, and you are wondering if "Professional Sleeper" is a real job title on LinkedIn.
(Bad news: It is not a real job. Unless you test mattresses, which is very rare).
Welcome to the confusing time between Christmas and New Year’s. It is that strange week where nobody knows what day it is. My only goal today is to find the TV remote without standing up.

From my sofa at CareerXpanse, I hope you are enjoying this rest. I hope your holidays are full of fun, laughter, and people you love.
Speaking of people you love: this time of year is great, but it can be tricky for your career confidence. I know the feeling. It happens when you are eating dinner and your Aunt asks the difficult questions:
"So, are you still doing that computer job? When are they going to make you the boss?"
Yes, Auntie. The computer job is fine. It pays for the food we are eating right now.
But seriously, hold your friends and family close. Enjoy the noise and the mess.
They are your "why." I work hard all year so that I can relax with them now. They are my support team when work is stressful.
Now, put down the cookie for a second. I need to talk to you about the future.
We need to talk about the stars and 2026.
"The stars?!" you might say. "I thought this was a career blog, not a horoscope!"
I know. But let’s be honest. Sometimes, planning a career feels like magic.
You can have the perfect CV. You can wear the best suit. You can say all the right things. But sometimes, you need the universe to be on your side. You need the stars to align.
Think about it. Maybe you didn't get that promotion last month because you weren't "working hard enough." Or... maybe it was just Mercury Retrograde. (That is the time when planets move backward, emails get lost, and communication goes crazy).
If we want 2026 to be your best year, we need to look at the big picture.
Is your career energy matching your zodiac sign?
Are you a Leo trying to work a quiet desk job? (Bad idea).
Are you a Virgo trying to work in a messy, chaotic office? (Also a bad idea).
We can write plans and strategies all day. But sometimes, you just need to know if the universe is ready for your next big move.
So, my wish for you is simple. Enjoy your rest. Blame any bad career decisions on the planets.
But when the new year starts, let’s look at your future together.
Whether you believe in hard work, luck, or just good timing, I am here to help you find your path. Let’s make sure your career chart looks as good as your star chart.
Happy Holidays to you and your family. Here is to a cosmic and successful 2026!
