1. Acceptance of Terms - By accessing our website careerXpanse.com and purchasing or using our services (including resume writing, career coaching, LinkedIn profile optimization, and digital resources), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services - CareerXpanse provides career consulting services. These may include, but are not limited to:
One-on-one coaching sessions (video or phone or in person).
Resume and cover letter editing or writing.
Interview preparation.
Job search strategy planning.
Career Astrology Services
We act as an advisor and facilitator in your career search. We are not an employment agency or a recruiting firm. We do not procure employees for employers or procure opportunities for employees.
3. No Guarantee of ResultsYou acknowledge and agree that CareerXpanse does not guarantee that using our services will result in:
A specific job offer.
A specific salary increase.
Interviews or specific career outcomes.
The job market is subjective and competitive. Our role is to provide you with the tools, documents, and strategies to improve your chances, but the final hiring decision lies solely with third-party employers. Fees paid for our services are for the time and expertise of the consultant, not for a specific employment outcome.
4. Client Responsibilities - To achieve the best results, you agree to:
Provide Accurate Information: You verify that all information provided regarding your employment history, education, and certifications is true and accurate. We are not liable for any damages resulting from false information included in documents we prepare based on your input.
Active Participation: Success requires your active engagement in applying for jobs, networking, and attending scheduled sessions.
Professional Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate our relationship with any client who is abusive, harassing, or disrespectful to our staff. In such cases, no refund will be issued for remaining sessions.
5. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Payment: Payment is due in full prior to the commencement of services unless a payment plan has been explicitly agreed upon in writing.
Scheduling & Cancellations:
We require at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a coaching session.
Sessions canceled with less than the required notice will be forfeited and are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
If you are more than 15 minutes late to a scheduled call, it will be considered a "no-show" and the session will be forfeited.
Refund Policy:
Services: Due to the custom nature of our work, refunds are generally not provided once work has commenced (e.g., once a resume draft has been started or a coaching call has occurred).
Digital Products: Downloadable products (e.g., templates, e-books) are non-refundable.
Exceptions to this policy are made at the sole discretion of CareerXpanse.
6. Intellectual Property
Your Documents: You retain full ownership of the final versions of your resume and cover letter.
Our Materials: Any worksheets, guides, templates, or methodologies provided to you during the coaching process are the intellectual property of CareerXpanse. You are granted a limited license to use these for your personal job search, but you may not resell, redistribute, or reproduce them for commercial purposes.
7. Confidentiality - We respect the sensitive nature of a job search. We agree to keep all conversations, documents, and career plans discussed during our sessions strictly confidential. We will not disclose that you are a client of ours to any current or future employer without your express written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability - To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareerXpanse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 6 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law - These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Bucharest, Romania.
